yadu-vaḿśa-prasūtānāḿ
puḿsāḿ vikhyāta-karmaṇām
sańkhyā na śakyate kartum
api varṣāyutair nṛpa
SYNONYMS
yadu-vaḿśa — in the Yadu dynasty; prasūtānām — of those who were born; puḿsām — men; vikhyāta — famous; karmaṇām — whose deeds; sańkhyā — the counting; na śakyate — cannot; kartum — be done; api — even; varṣa — in years; ayutaiḥ — tens of thousands; nṛpa — O King (Parīkṣit).
TRANSLATION
The Yadu dynasty produced innumerable great men of famous deeds. Even in tens of thousands of years, O King, one could never count them all.
