śrī-śuka uvāca

tan niśamyātha haryaśvā

autpattika-manīṣayā

vācaḥ kūṭaḿ tu devarṣeḥ

svayaḿ vimamṛśur dhiyā

SYNONYMS

śrī-śukaḥ uvācaŚrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said; tat — that; niśamya — hearing; atha — thereafter; haryaśvāḥ — all the sons of Prajāpati Dakṣa; autpattika — naturally awakened; manīṣayā — by possessing the power to consider; vācaḥ — of the speech; kūṭam — the enigma; tu — but; devarṣeḥ — of Nārada Muni; svayam — themselves; vimamṛśuḥ — reflected upon; dhiyā — with full intelligence.

TRANSLATION

Śrī Śukadeva Gosvāmī said: Hearing these enigmatic words of Nārada Muni, the Haryaśvas considered them with their natural intelligence, without help from others.
