tad vijñāya mahā-sattvo

bhīmaḥ praharatāḿ varaḥ

gṛhītvā pādayoḥ śatruḿ

pātayām āsa bhū-tale

SYNONYMS

tat — that; vijñāya — understanding; mahā — great; sattvaḥ — whose strength; bhīmaḥBhīma; praharatām — of fighters; varaḥ — the best; gṛhītvā — seizing; pādayoḥ — by the feet; śatrum — his enemy; pātayām asahe made him fall; bhū-taleto the ground.

TRANSLATION

Understanding this sign, mighty Bhīma, the best of fighters, seized his opponent by the feet and threw him to the ground.
