pradyumna-sāmbau yudhi rūḍha-matsarāv

akrūra-bhojāv aniruddha-sātyakī

subhadra-sańgrāmajitau su-dāruṇau

gadau sumitrā-surathau samīyatuḥ

SYNONYMS

pradyumna-sāmbauPradyumna and Sāmba; yudhiin the battle; rūḍha — aroused; matsarau — their enmity; akrūra-bhojauAkrūra and Bhoja; aniruddha-sātyakīAniruddha and Sātyaki; subhadra-sańgrāmajitauSubhadra and Sańgrāmajit; su-dāruṇau — ferocious; gadau — the two Gadas (one the brother of Śrī Kṛṣṇa and the other His son); sumitrā-surathauSumitra and Suratha; samīyatuḥ — met together.

TRANSLATION

Their mutual enmity aroused, Pradyumna fought fiercely against Sāmba, Akrūra against Kuntibhoja, Aniruddha against Sātyaki, Subhadra against Sańgrāmajit, Sumitra against Suratha, and the two Gadas against each other.
