tad vīkṣya tān upavrajya
vasudevo mahā-yaśāḥ
praṇamya copasańgṛhya
babhāṣedaḿ su-yantritaḥ
SYNONYMS
tat — this; vīkṣya — seeing; tān — them; upavrajya — approaching; vasudevaḥ — Vasudeva; mahā — great; yaśāḥ — whose fame; praṇamya — bowing down; ca — and; upasańgṛhya — taking hold of their feet; babhāṣa — he said; idam — this; su — very; yantritaḥ — carefully composed.
TRANSLATION
Seeing that they were about to leave, the renowned Vasudeva approached the sages. After bowing down to them and touching their feet, he spoke to them with carefully chosen words.
